Kyle Laramore

I am a recent graduate of Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, along with my precious wife of three years, Laura. I have been composing music since around age 13, and I am now 25 years old. My purpose in writing music is to encourage and instruct God's people by helping them to memorize Scripture and by enhancing the message of Scripture through appropriate emotions that music can provide. My goal is to write music that is uplifting, theologically solid, and accessible to the average congregation. I just hope that my compositions somehow allow my brothers and sisters in Christ to catch a small glimpse of the glory of our King.

You may notice three small letters at the beginning of each of my pieces. I got this from J. S. Bach, who often wrote the letters "SDG" on his manuscripts, which stood for "Soli Deo Gloria". As with prayer, I want everything I compose to be written "in Jesus' name." Therefore, I decided that I would use the letters "RJC" to declare that with every song I write, and in everything I do, I am "Representing Jesus Christ."
