Daniel Elder Daniel earned his Bachelors degree at the University of Georgia, where he studied composition and voice.
Among the recent awards include 2nd place in the inaugural Georgia Young Composer's Festival (Atlanta GA); 1st prize in the Arnold Salop Memorial Competition (sponsored by the Southeastern Composers' League); 1st prize in the 2nd annual Choral Project Composition Competition (San Jose, CA); and most recently, one of eight winners in the Abbey Road Studios 80th Anniversary anthem competition (London).
Now studying for a Master of Music in composition at Westminster Choir College, Daniel is currently published by GIA publications in the Music from Westminster Choral Series.
