Dale DeBlock

Earned BS in Music Ed at Wayne State Univ. (Detroit).
Some grad. hrs at Wayne State and Univ. of Fla.
Served as part-time, bi-vocational Minister of Music at several churches in Michigan and Florida, most recent 14-yrs at Idlewild Baptist Church, Tampa. Performed with numerous vocal groups academically, in churches and on radio and TV, including original Discovery Singers.

Composed music since early age, but developed arranging skills after advent of notation software enabling computer to serve as personal pianist. Arrangements are simple, but compelling.
Compositions are melodic, easily sung, scripturally sound, and bear a distinct message.

Instruments: Tuba, Harmonica, former band teacher
Musical Influences: Bible study. Many of my compositions were born as I read God's Word. Kudos for the most giant talent I have worked with, would have to go to Dick Anthony, during our "Day of Discovery" years.
