About Holy Measures
Holy Measures is a new web company that offers independent composers of religious music a place to put their
sheet music in front of a global audience. The end result of our vision will be a site where liturgical music directors, worship leaders and fellow
composers can find new, fresh, never-before-heard songs for their own use.
Since any composer can upload as many songs as they like at anytime - without the need to go through a long, grueling publication process that may or
may not result in the song being used - Holy Measures aims to offer a wider variety of music than any other sheet music source. And because Holy
Measures welcomes music from all religions, shoppers will be exposed to a greater selection of music than they typically find when looking
elsewhere.
For the composer, Holy Measures offers the ability to:
Share your songs with the world
Earn a return on sales of your sheet music
Network with fellow composers
Track your sales and page views with ease
Allow your fans to print your sheet music instantly. No more
postage!
For the shopper and music lover, Holy Measures offers the ability to:
Leverage our unique search functionality to identify music that fits your
needs
Identify new and unique composers
Preview tunes and listen to audio clips of selected music
Network with fellow worship leaders

Matt Wessel - Founder
Matt has been writing liturgical music since he was in high school and has produced seven albums of original music. As someone who grew up
with musical parents who were involved in their church, Matt's goal has always been to create simple music that congregations can sing along to. Most
of his music is driven by powerful melodies and familiar words.
He is the main performer at the popular Concert For Life series that began in Gurnee, IL, back in 2001, a show dedicated to raising money
for the American Cancer Society. Since then he has helped to raise close to $200,000 for the ACS. Matt lost his father to the disease in 1997 and
much of his early music expresses the emotions he felt during that time of his life. The ACS awarded Matt with a Distinguished Service Award (Youth
Category) in the summer of 2004 and a Chairman's Award (Illinois Division) in the fall of 2005 for his work with the Concert For Life and for his
support of the ACS.
Matt is a graduate of Marquette University where he was a student music minister. It was during his time at Marquette that he wrote many of
his more popular songs, including "Be With Me", "Take, Lord" and "Those Who Dwell". He currently lives in Milwaukee,
WI, and is a part-time music minister at Three Holy Women Parish.
His personal web site is www.mattwesselmusic.com.
Bryan Paull - Founder
While Bryan often jokes that his musical talent is limited to playing "Guitar Hero," he began to develop an interest in religious
music after he first heard Matt's work. Armed with the understanding that independent composers often find themselves at a great disadvantage and
with his "can-do" approach, he immediately became a believer in the concept behind "Holy Measures." His other passions include
his family and friends, international travel, and intramural and professional athletics.
Bryan is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin. While completing his graduate studies at Northwestern University Kellogg School of
Management, he began to leverage his prior experience to create a site dedicated toward helping musical artists reach their desired audiences.
Bryan currently lives in Chicago, IL, and has been a member of Congregation Beth Judea for more than 20 years.
